商品特色 全世界的杜鵑花屬植物，共有960種，在中國境內就有多達570餘種，英文名有Rhododendron與Azalea兩種差別，Rhododendron的杜鵑花較大棵，葉片厚實，被稱為山杜鵑，另外較小棵、葉子較小的稱做azalea，雖然杜鵑屬的種類眾多，但僅有喜馬拉雅山地區的髯花杜鵑用於萃取精油。

髯花杜鵑花，學名Rhododendron anthopogon，主要生長於不丹、尼泊爾、喜馬拉雅山，是尼泊爾的國花，種植在海拔3000公尺以上甚至高達4800公尺的山坡地，是西藏寺院焚香薰香的藥草之一，具有淨化、醒腦等特質。

髯花杜鵑的氣味如樹脂般的香氣，帶點甜甜的清香草本味，主要含有高成分單萜烯，如蒎烯(pinene)約40~45%。

使用方式 ※ 用途/用法：供添加、調製化粧品用。
※ 薰蒸法：薰蒸台上座加滿水後可滴入3～4滴精油，使室內充滿芳香
※ 沐浴法：將8～10滴精油滴入浴盆中（可視水量多寡調整精油使用量）可作全身或局部浸泡
※ 按摩法：可將精油以1:100的比例調配基底油按摩身體
※ 芳香劑或驅蟲劑：可在棉布或手帕滴上數滴精油，置於浴室或衣櫃內，可驅蟲和消臭，並使室內充滿天然的香味
